Route 12

On the following days Route 12 trams will run as Route 12a between St Kilda/Fitzroy Street and Stop 122 Southern Cross Station in Spencer Street.

  • Thursday 3 April from 12pm to last tram.
  • Thursday 24 April from 12pm to last tram.
  • Friday 25 April from 12pm to last tram.

Passengers for Victoria Parade may use Route 109 trams as an alternative.

Passengers at Southern Cross Station can reach Stop 11 Jolimont Station/MCG by using Route 48 trams along Collins Street.

Stop 33 Melbourne Showgrounds will be closed from first tram Saturday 3 May to 6pm Sunday 4 May. Connect with Route 57 trams at Stop 32 Sandown Road, 300m / 4 min walk.

 

Cruise Ship Season 2024/2025

Cruise ships are docking at Port Melbourne again. 

We are running additional Route 109 trams between Port Melbourne and the city on weekends when cruise ships are scheduled to arrive at Beacon Cove. Additional Route 109 trams will not run on Sunday 16 March, for alternative travel options visit ptv.vic.gov.au

On weekdays when a ship is docked it is likely there will be higher than usual demand, especially around peak times. It is recommended you allow extra time for your journey.

Cruise ship arrival times may vary due to tides. For the most up to date schedule check the Victoria Ports website.
